Voltridia Cavern is the rigid interior of a barren and stormy isle — Voltridia Island. It is a jumble of electrical crystals, bulging rock and wild Pokémon. Located off the coast of Roria, it is too far out to be seen on the Roria Town Map. Legendary Pokémon Zapdos resides in the highest point of this cave.
Notable Event[]
Catching Zapdos[]
As the player enters Voltridia Cavern, he or she will be able to spot a slope on the left. Ascending the slope leads to an U-turn and a long hallway afterwards. The player will be able to see Zapdos when walking through the long hallway, and after another U-turn, he or she will be able to encounter it. The player only has 1 chance to catch Zapdos, so save beforehand and turn off Autosave. Be warned that Zapdos is very difficult to catch — the player is recommended to buy a surplus of Dusk Balls from the Poké Ball Emporium before proceeding.
Pokémon[]
Wild Pokémon[]
Note: Rarity levels are estimations according to this scale and might be subject to changes due to different encounter assessment results. If there are any Pokémon with low catch rates, the possibility to flee or requirement of gaining happiness to evolve, recommended Poké Balls for that Pokémon will be shown with the corresponding bag sprite under the Pokémon's name.

Trivia[]
- The name of this cavern is based on volts — the derived unit for electric potential difference (voltage) and electromotive force, which was named after the Italian physicist Alessandro Volta.
- Voltridia Cavern can be considered as a throwback to Mt. Layuda, Oblivia in Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs. Both places are stormy hills on offshore islands with the same Legendary Pokémon resting on the peaks.
