Trivia

  • When Gems were first implemented in core series games Pokémon Black, White, Black 2 and White 2, they actually boosted damage by 50%. The increase has been reduced to 30% from Pokémon X and Y onwards, and the change was carried here.
  • The Fairy Gem, despite being added in Pokémon X and Y following the introduction of the Fairy type, was actually unobtainable in those games, as well as Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire; however, it is obtainable in this game.
