The Stone Shop is one of the major shops in Anthian City - Shopping District. It displays and sells numerous types of valuable stones and gems. This shop offers all 18 variations of Gems, 6 Evolutionary Stones and 27 different kinds of Mega Stones.

Gems[]

Gems are one-use held items which increase the damage of an attack that corresponds to the gem's type by 30%. The gem is consumed before the attack is unleashed on the target. All 18 kinds of Gems can be purchased here for the same price — 5000 dollars.

Evolutionary Stones[]

5 kinds of basic Evolutionary Stones are sold here, but they also can be found by underwater mining in Lagoona Trenches as well. Ice Stones are purchasable from Version 0.9.2 on 16th December, 2016 onwards, but were restricted to players who completed the 2016 Christmas Event and received the reward in Anthian Park, until Version 0.14.4 on 9th September, 2017, where they finally become available to all players even if they missed the event, in response to the event-exclusive status of Pokémon evolving via Ice Stones being lifted.

Mega Stones[]

27 kinds of Mega Stones can be bought here. Each kind of Mega Stone is for a specific Pokémon to hold, in order to achieve Mega Evolution after players acquire the Key Stone. These are the most expensive items in-game, and players are recommended to grind for money from Money Hotspots if the player is unable to buy these.

Trivia[]

  • When Gems were first implemented in core series games Pokémon Black, White, Black 2 and White 2, they actually boosted damage by 50%. The increase has been reduced to 30% from Pokémon X and Y onwards, and the change was carried to PBB.
  • The Fairy Gem, despite being added in Pokémon X and Y following the introduction of the Fairy type, was actually unobtainable in those games, as well as Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire; however, it is obtainable in this game.
