Route 6 is a savannah route that links Brimber City to Mt. Igneus. Immediately after entering this route from Brimber City, a fork splits the route into 2 paths, with the right path leading to a dead end with many dirt piles and some strangely placed rocks. Only the left path will lead players to Mt. Igneus and allow them to progress throughout the story.
Notable Places[]
Durant Nests[]
The piles of dirt found on this route are actually Durant nests. Bring along a Pokémon with the move Dig to clear the pile, and Durant may pop out to fight the player. While Hippopotas on Route 5 can learn Dig at Level 19, TM28 Dig is also available in BP Shop, Colosseum Marketplace for 60 BP.
Rock Formation and Calcite Chamber[]
Picking the right path will lead the player to a dead end with some strangely placed rocks, as well as a rock pillar with the Legendary Pokémon Regirock's eye pattern marked in front. Once the player completes all of the puzzles in Frostveil Catacombs, the pillar reveals the cave entrance to Calcite Chamber.
Pokémon[]
Wild Pokémon[]
Note: Rarity levels are estimations according to this scale and might be subject to changes due to different encounter assessment results. If there are any Pokémon with low catch rates, the possibility to flee or requirement of gaining happiness to evolve, recommended Poké Balls for that Pokémon will be shown with the corresponding bag sprite under the Pokémon's name.
