Frigidia Cavern is the interior of an icy hill that can be found on Frigidia Island. It is a jumble of ice, crystals, rock, and wild Pokémon. Located off the coast of Roria, it is too far out to be seen on the Roria Town Map. The cavern is the home of the Ice-type Legendary Pokémon Articuno.
Notable Event[]
Catching Articuno[]
As the player enters the cavern, he or she will be able to spot an icy slope. The slope is distinguishable from the rocks only because of its bright blue colour. If the player follows the slope up to its very end, Articuno will be seen. The player only has 1 chance to catch Articuno, so save beforehand and turn off the Autosave function. Even so, Articuno is very difficult to catch — the player is recommended to buy many Dusk Balls from the Poké Ball Emporium before proceeding.

Trivia[]
- Alolan Sandshrew and Vulpix were previously Event Pokémon in 2016 Christmas Event. With their sightings in here, their event-exclusive status is officially lifted.
- The name of the cavern derived from the word "frigid", meaning "very cold" in temperature.
